Ingredients

  • 2 lb. Velveeta cheese
  • 2 lb. lean hamburger
  • 1 can green chili salsa
  • 1 small can diced green chilies
  • 1 small can diced black olives
  • 1 small can diced jalapeno peppers (optional)
  • 1 bunch onions, chopped

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Layer 1: Spread two cans of jalapeno bean dip evenly over the bottom of a 9 1/2 x 11 1/2 inch baking dish.
  3. In a skillet, cook the lean hamburger until browned; drain excess fat.
  4. Add green chili salsa, diced green chilies, and diced black olives to the cooked beef; stir to combine.
  5. Spread the beef and chili mixture over the bean dip layer in the baking dish.
  6. Top with sliced or chopped onions and shredded Velveeta cheese.
  7. Bake in the preheated oven for about 30 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  8. Optional: Garnish with diced jalapeno peppers before serving.
