Ingredients

  • 2 lb. ground beef
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • few grains pepper
  • 1/2 c. milk
  • 1 (8 oz.) pkg. herb flavored bread stuffing mix
  • 1 small onion

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease an 8-inch x 5-inch loaf pan.
  2. Combine ground beef, minced onion, milk, salt, and pepper; mix thoroughly.
  3. Prepare the herb-flavored bread stuffing mix as directed on the package.
  4. Fill the prepared loaf pan with 3 layers of the meat mixture and 2 layers of stuffing mixture, beginning and ending with the meat.
  5. Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 1 hour and 15 minutes.
  6. Serve hot or cold.
