Ingredients

  • 1 lb. ground beef
  • 3 carrots, peeled and sliced
  • 3 celery stalks, sliced
  • 1 large baking potato, sliced
  • 1 small green pepper
  • 1 medium onion
  • 1 c. (4 oz.) mushrooms, drained
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 tsp. dried basil
  • 1 tsp. dried parsley
  • 1/4 tsp. dried tarragon
  • 1 (10 1/2 oz.) can tomato soup (undiluted)

Instructions

  1. Break up meat in a 2-quart baking dish.
  2. Put carrots on meat, then celery and so on.
  3. Bake at 300° for 2 hours.
