Ingredients

  • 1 bunch leeks
  • 1/4 lb. bacon
  • 8 potatoes, diced
  • 2 Tbsp. parsley
  • 12 oz. chopped clams in juice
  • 1 pt. water
  • 1/4 c. flour

Instructions

  1. Brown bacon in a large stock pot.
  2. Wash the leeks well.
  3. Chop the lower part of the leeks and add to the bacon.
  4. Saute about 5 to 10 minutes.
  5. Add chopped clams in juice and parsley.
  6. Add about 1 pint hot water and heat to boiling.
  7. Add diced potatoes and simmer until tender.
