Ingredients

  • 1 yellow cake mix
  • 1 stick margarine
  • 1 egg
  • 1 lb powdered sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 8 oz cream cheese
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • lemon juice

Instructions

  1. Mix dry cake mix, melted margarine, and egg together.
  2. Press the mixture into the bottom of a 12 x 9-inch cake pan.
  3. In a separate bowl, mix powdered sugar, eggs, softened cream cheese, vanilla, and lemon juice until smooth.
  4. Spread the lemon mixture evenly over the crust.
  5. Bake at 325°F for 45 minutes.
  6. Allow to cool and sprinkle powdered sugar over the top if desired.
