Ingredients

  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 1/3 cup lemon juice
  • 2/3 cup water
  • 2 teaspoons butter
  • 1 teaspoon lemon rind
  • 5 tablespoons flour
  • 1/2 cup whipping cream

Instructions

  1. Boil the sugar, beaten egg, lemon juice, water, butter, lemon rind, and flour until thick, stirring constantly.
  2. Set the mixture to cool.
  3. Whip the whipping cream until soft peaks form.
  4. Once the lemon mixture is cool, fold in the whipped cream.
