- In large skillet, melt butter.
- Add bread and brown over medium heat until toast-like.
- In 2-quart casserole dish, combine sugar, eggs and flour and stir well.
- Stir in undrained pineapple. Put toasted bread on top.
- Press down, but do not stir.
- Bake, uncovered, in preheated oven at 350° for 45 minutes.
- Serve hot. Makes 8 servings.
