Ingredients

  • juice and grated rind of 1 lemon or 2 Tbsp. concentrated lemon juice
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 4 slightly beaten egg yolks
  • 1 Tbsp. butter
  • 1/3 cup chopped nuts

Instructions

  1. Combine lemon juice and grated rind, sugar, egg yolks, and butter in a double boiler.
  2. Cook, stirring constantly, until the mixture thickens.
  3. Allow to cool, then stir in chopped nuts.
