  • 1 c. sugar
  • 2 Tbsp. cornstarch
  • 4 Tbsp. lemon juice
  • 4 Tbsp. butter
  • lemon peel (optional)

Instructions

  1. Boil together water, sugar, and cornstarch.
  2. Remove from fire. Add lemon juice and butter and cook until clear.
  3. Add lemon peel if desired.
