Ingredients

  • 2 Tbsp. olive oil
  • 1 1/2 tsp. garlic salt
  • 3 large bunches broccoli, cut into large flowerets
  • 1 c. chicken broth
  • 1 tsp. grated lemon peel
  • 1 Tbsp. lemon juice

Instructions

  1. In a large skillet, over medium-high heat, heat the olive oil.
  2. Add garlic salt and cook for 1 to 2 minutes.
  3. Add broccoli and cook for 3 minutes, turning frequently to coat with oil.
  4. Add chicken broth and grated lemon peel.
  5. Reduce heat to medium and simmer, covered, for 5 to 7 minutes until broccoli is tender but still crisp.
  6. Sprinkle with lemon juice, salt, and pepper to taste.
