Ingredients

  • 1 head lettuce
  • 2 to 3 celery stalks
  • Bermuda onion rings
  • 1/2 pint sour cream
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 2 to 4 tablespoons vinegar
  • 1/2 pound bacon
  • Parmesan cheese

Instructions

  1. Tear or chop the lettuce and cut the celery diagonally.
  2. Place the lettuce, celery, and Bermuda onion rings in layers in a serving dish.
  3. Combine sour cream and sugar, then drizzle over the layered salad.
  4. Mix mayonnaise and vinegar, then drizzle over the layers and sour cream.
  5. Crumble cooked bacon over the salad.
  6. Sprinkle Parmesan cheese on top, cover, and refrigerate for 2 hours before serving.
