Ingredients

  • 1 (21 oz.) can pie filling
  • 1 angel food cake or 2 small
  • 1 package vanilla instant pudding and pie filling
  • 1 1/2 cups skim milk
  • 1 (8 oz.) carton low-fat yogurt
  • 1/3 cup sliced almonds

Instructions

  1. Tear the angel food cake into bite-size pieces.
  2. Beat the vanilla pudding mix with the skim milk until smooth and thickened; stir in the yogurt.
  3. In a 3-quart glass serving bowl, layer 1/4 of the cake pieces, half of the pie filling, another 1/4 of the cake pieces, and half of the vanilla pudding mixture.
  4. Repeat the layering with the remaining cake pieces, pie filling, and pudding mixture.
  5. Sprinkle toasted sliced almonds on top.
  6. Refrigerate until chilled before serving.
