Tips & Substitutions

To enhance flavor, consider adding fresh herbs like basil or oregano to the ricotta mixture. For a lighter version, substitute part of the ricotta with cottage cheese. If you're short on time, use no-boil lasagna noodles instead of traditional ones. For added nutrition, incorporate sautéed spinach or mushrooms between layers, making it a great fit for vegetarian recipes.

Serving Suggestions

This meatless lasagna pairs beautifully with a fresh side salad and a slice of Helen'S Italian Bread for a complete meal. For added texture, serve with garlic bread or a light drizzle of olive oil. A glass of red wine complements the flavors nicely. For a heartier option, consider serving with a side of roasted vegetables.

Storage & Reheating

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 4 days. To reheat, cover with foil and bake at 350°F for about 30 minutes, or until heated through. For best results, add a splash of water to keep the lasagna moist. You can also freeze it for up to 3 months; just thaw in the refrigerator before reheating.
