Ingredients

  • 3 Tbsp. basil
  • 3 Tbsp. parsley flakes
  • 1/2 c. soft margarine
  • 1 c. boiling water
  • 8 oz. cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 c. grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1/2 tsp. pepper
  • 1/4 c. olive oil

Instructions

  1. Melt the butter in a saucepan.
  2. Add basil and parsley flakes to the melted butter.
  3. Blend in cream cheese, Parmesan cheese, olive oil, minced garlic, and pepper.
  4. Stir in boiling water until smooth.
  5. Blend the sauce well to combine all flavors.
  6. Serve over thin spaghetti, garnished with additional Parmesan cheese and a crisp salad on the side.
