Ingredients

  • 6-8 boneless pork chops (1/2 inch thick)
  • 1/4 teaspoon onion powder per chop
  • Salt to taste
  • Pepper to taste
  • 1 can (10 3/4 oz) golden mushroom soup
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 2 carrots, peeled and sliced
  • 3-4 green onions, chopped

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 300 degrees Fahrenheit and grease a 9x13-inch casserole dish.
  2. Place pork chops in the dish and season with salt and pepper to taste.
  3. Sprinkle each chop with onion powder and drizzle olive oil over the chops.
  4. Spread golden mushroom soup over the seasoned pork chops.
  5. Add chopped green onions and sliced carrots on top.
  6. Sprinkle lightly with salt and place pats of sliced butter on top.
  7. Cover the dish with foil and bake for 1.5 hours.
  8. Increase oven temperature to 350 degrees Fahrenheit, uncover, and bake for an additional 30 minutes.
  9. Serve hot, preferably with rice.
