Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground pork sausage
  • 2 Tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 can sliced water chestnuts, chopped
  • 1 green onion bunch, chopped with stems
  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • won ton wrappers

Instructions

  1. Brown the ground pork sausage; drain excess fat.
  2. Mix soy sauce, chopped water chestnuts, chopped green onions, beaten egg, and salt in a bowl.
  3. Combine the mixture well.
  4. Place a small amount of the filling in the center of each won ton wrapper.
  5. Fold the wrapper in half to form a triangle, then bring each side to meet in the middle.
  6. Pinch the ends together to seal the won ton.
  7. Deep fry the won tons in hot oil until golden brown.
