"Lorallie'S" Lasagna

Ingredients

  • 1/4 lb. lasagna, cooked and drained
  • 2 Tbsp. olive oil or vegetable oil
  • 1 lb. ground beef
  • 1 clove garlic
  • 1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
  • 2 1/2 c. canned whole tomatoes
  • 1 Tbsp. chopped parsley
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 tsp. sweet basil
  • 1/2 tsp. oregano
  • 1/2 tsp. sugar
  • 1/8 tsp. pepper
  • 1 bag Mozzarella cheese (about 2 c.)
  • 1 bag pizza cheese (about 1 c.)

Instructions

  1. Brown ground beef, garlic and olive oil.
  2. Mix tomato sauce, tomatoes and seasonings.
  3. Simmer, uncovered, for 30 minutes.
  4. In bottom of greased baking dish, spoon in 1/2 of meat sauce, 1/2 lasagna, 1/2 pizza cheese and 1/3 Mozzarella cheese.
  5. Form another layer of remainder of lasagna, pizza cheese and 1/3 Mozzarella. Top with meat sauce.
  6. Sprinkle with remainder of Mozzarella.
  7. Bake, uncovered, in 350° preheated oven for 45 minutes.
