Ingredients

  • 1 stick butter
  • 1/2 cup chopped onions
  • 1 can cream of celery soup
  • 1 small jar Cheez Whiz (jalapeno or regular)

Instructions

  1. Melt butter in a nonstick skillet and sauté chopped onions until transparent.
  2. Add cream of celery soup and Cheez Whiz; melt slowly while stirring.
  3. Place hash browns in a 13 x 9-inch baking pan.
  4. Pour the sauce over the potatoes.
  5. Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 20 to 25 minutes until bubbly and golden.
