A luscious, fruit-filled cake with tropical flavors of mandarin oranges and pineapple, topped with Cool Whip, perfect for gatherings and special occasions.

Ingredients

  • 1 box yellow cake mix
  • 3/4 cup oil
  • 1 small can mandarin oranges and juice
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 small can crushed pineapple
  • 1 medium carton Cool Whip

Instructions

  1. Mix the yellow cake mix, oil, mandarin oranges with juice, and eggs together.
  2. Pour the batter into a greased and floured 9 x 13-inch pan.
  3. Bake at 350°F for 30 minutes.
  4. Drain the crushed pineapple when the cake is done.
  5. While the cake is still hot, pour the pineapple juice over it.
  6. Poke a few holes in the cake with a toothpick.
  7. Let the cake cool completely.
  8. Mix the drained pineapple, Cool Whip, and instant pudding together.
  9. Spread the mixture over the cooled cake.
  10. Store in the refrigerator.
