- Mix flour and baking powder together, then set aside.
- Beat sugar and margarine until fluffy, then add to the flour mixture.
- Add eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition.
- Stir in almond and vanilla extracts.
- Mix well to combine.
- With a large spoon, fold in one can of macadamia nuts.
- Form batter into two 2-inch wide loaves, around 1-2 inches high and 15 inches long, on a cookie sheet.
- Bake at 325°F for 30 minutes or until golden.
- Remove trays and cool for 10-15 minutes, then reduce oven temperature to 250°F.
- Slice loaves into 1/2-inch thick slices.
- Place slices standing up on the tray and bake for an additional 30-40 minutes.
- Turn off oven and let slices sit for 1-2 hours to become crunchy. Store in an airtight container.
