Instructions
- Butter a baking dish with 1 tablespoon of butter or use solid margarine.
- Slice the bananas and place them in the prepared baking dish.
- In a small bowl, combine honey, lemon juice, and dark rum.
- Pour the honey mixture over the bananas.
- Dot the remaining 3 tablespoons of butter over the bananas.
- Sprinkle with ground cinnamon if desired.
- Bake at 350°F (175°C) for about 15 minutes until bananas are caramelized.
- Serve warm, optionally with ice cream or yogurt.
