Ingredients

  • 1 cup uncooked elbow macaroni
  • 3/4-1 pound sharp cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 stick margarine
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 1/2 pints milk
  • salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Cook macaroni in a quart of slightly salted water until tender. Drain in a colander and pour into a medium casserole dish.
  2. Grate the cheddar cheese and add to the macaroni, mixing together.
  3. Slightly beat the eggs, cut up the margarine, and add to the mixture.
  4. Pour in enough milk to cover all ingredients.
  5. Bake in a preheated oven at 350°F for 45-50 minutes.
