Ingredients

  • 1 Tbsp. salt
  • 3 qt. boiling water
  • 2 c. elbow macaroni
  • 1 c. diced turkey, chicken or tuna
  • 1/2 c. chopped onion
  • 1 c. milk
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1/4 tsp. pepper

Instructions

  1. Add 1 tablespoon salt to rapidly boiling water.
  2. Gradually add macaroni so that water continues to boil.
  3. Cook, uncovered, stirring occasionally until tender; drain.
  4. Combine cooked macaroni with diced turkey or chicken, chopped onion, milk, remaining salt, and pepper.
  5. Mix well; turn into a 1 1/2-quart casserole.
  6. Bake in a 375°F oven for 20 to 25 minutes.
