Ingredients

  • 1 brisket
  • salt and pepper to taste

  • salsa
  • flour tortillas
  • sour cream
  • avocados

Instructions

  1. Do not trim the brisket; wrap it in foil and bake in a preheated 350°F oven until it is well done and falls apart, about 2 hours.
  2. Remove the brisket from the oven, trim it, and shred it with two forks.
  3. Pour salsa over the shredded meat and let it soak in for several minutes.
  4. Heat the mixture in a skillet or microwave until warm.
  5. Fold the warmed meat into flour tortillas and top with sour cream and avocado pieces.
  6. Store any leftover brisket in the refrigerator for up to 4 days or freeze for later use.
