Creamy, cheesy nachos topped with spicy sausage, fresh tomatoes, jalapenos, and flavorful refried beans, perfect for sharing at casual gatherings or game nights.

Ingredients

  • 8 oz Italian sausage, casings removed
  • 1 (10 oz) pkg yellow or white corn tortilla chips
  • 1 (16 oz) can Rosarita Refried Beans
  • 1 cup picante sauce
  • 1 cup diced tomatoes
  • 1 1/2 cups shredded cheese
  • sliced jalapeno peppers

Instructions

  1. Cook the sausage until brown and crumbly; drain and keep warm.
  2. Place tortilla chips on a baking sheet.
  3. Combine refried beans and picante sauce in a saucepan, heat until warm, stirring occasionally.
  4. Spoon the bean mixture over the chips.
  5. Top with sausage, diced tomatoes, shredded cheese, and sliced jalapeno peppers.
  6. Bake at 400 degrees Fahrenheit for 10 minutes or until the cheese is melted.
  7. Top with guacamole and sour cream before serving.
