Layered with sweetened condensed milk, chocolate, coconut, and pecans, these rich, gooey Magic Cookie Bars are a classic treat perfect for any dessert lover. They’re easy to make and irresistibly delicious.

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup real butter
  • 1 1/2 cups graham cracker crumbs
  • 1 - 14 oz. can sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 cup peanut butter morsels
  • 1 cup butterscotch morsels
  • 3 1/2 oz. can sweetened angel flake coconut
  • 1 1/2 cups pecan pieces

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 325 degrees Fahrenheit.
  2. Using a glass baking pan, melt butter in the oven.
  3. Sprinkle graham cracker crumbs evenly over melted butter and spread with the back of a tablespoon.
  4. Pour sweetened condensed milk evenly over the crumb layer and spread with the back of a spoon.
  5. Sprinkle pecan pieces over the layer of milk.
  6. Add peanut butter morsels over the nuts.
  7. Add butterscotch morsels on top.
  8. Spread coconut evenly over the top.
  9. Wet your hand with cold water and press the mixture down evenly.
  10. Press down the corners with a spoon.
  11. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until lightly browned.
  12. Allow to cool, then cut into squares.
  13. Store loosely covered at room temperature.
  14. While still hot, loosen the sides with a knife.
