Tips & Substitutions

For a richer flavor, consider using unsalted butter instead of real butter. You can substitute the pecan pieces with walnuts or almonds if preferred. For a gluten-free option, use gluten-free graham cracker crumbs. Make sure to press down the layers firmly to ensure they hold together after baking. If you want to try a different flavor, swap the butterscotch morsels with chocolate chips or sea salt caramel chips.
