Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup light corn syrup
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1 (3 oz.) package gelatin (any flavor)
  • 3/4 cup raisins or salted peanuts
  • 4 cups Post Alpha-Bits cereal

Instructions

  1. Combine light corn syrup and sugar in a saucepan over medium heat.
  2. Stir until the sugar dissolves and the mixture is smooth, then remove from heat.
  3. Stir in the gelatin until fully dissolved.
  4. In a large bowl, mix the cereal with raisins or salted peanuts if using.
  5. Pour the syrup mixture over the cereal mixture and stir until evenly coated.
  6. Allow the mixture to cool slightly, then shape into balls using your hands.
  7. Let the balls set on wax paper until firm before serving.
