Ingredients

  • 3/4 cup coconut
  • 3/4 cup light brown sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/3 cup shortening
  • 2 tablespoons milk

Instructions

  1. Cook, stirring, until sugar melts.
  2. Spread on top of warm cake.
  3. Return to oven and bake for 10 minutes at 375°.
