A hearty, comforting casserole combining ground beef, creamy mushroom soup, tomatoes, and rice, topped with cheese. Perfect for family dinners and easy to prepare in advance.

Ingredients

  • 2 lb. ground sirloin
  • 2 cans mushroom soup
  • 1 large can whole tomatoes
  • 2 cups Minute rice
  • 1 large package grated sharp Cheddar cheese
  • chopped onion
  • salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Brown chopped onion and ground sirloin in a skillet on the stove.
  2. Add mushroom soup, whole tomatoes, Minute rice, and 2 cups water to the skillet, stirring thoroughly.
  3. Pour the mixture into a large, sprayed baking dish.
  4. Top with grated sharp Cheddar cheese.
  5. Bake in a preheated oven at 350°F for 45 minutes.
  6. Serve and enjoy!
