Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups self-rising cornmeal
  • 2 tablespoons chopped bell pepper
  • 2 chopped hot red peppers
  • 1 1/2 cups grated sharp Cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup cream-style corn
  • 1 cup buttermilk
  • 2 eggs

Instructions

  2. Pour the batter into a greased skillet or muffin rings.
  3. Bake in a preheated oven at 350°F (175°C) for 40 minutes.
