Ingredients

  • 12 green peppers
  • 12 red peppers
  • 6 onions
  • 1/2 cup salt
  • 4 cups sugar
  • 2 cups vinegar

Instructions

  1. Wash and grind the green peppers, red peppers, and onions using a food grinder.
  2. Add 1/2 cup of salt and cover the mixture with boiling water.
  3. Let stand for 5 minutes, then drain and squeeze out all liquid.
  4. Cover again with boiling water and let stand for 10 minutes, then squeeze out all liquid.
  5. Heat vinegar, sugar, and spices to a rolling boil.
  6. Add the prepared vegetables to the boiling mixture and cook for 20 minutes.
  7. Place the hot mixture into jars and seal.
