Maple-Fruit Butter

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup pitted prunes
  • 1/2 cup dried fruit bits
  • 1/2 cup unsweetened orange juice
  • 1/3 cup reduced-calorie maple-flavored pancake syrup
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon

Instructions

  1. Combine first 3 ingredients in a small saucepan; bring to a boil. Cover, remove from heat, and let stand 10 minutes.
  2. Position knife blade in food processor bowl; add fruit mixture. Process until smooth. Add syrup and cinnamon; process until smooth. Cover, and store in refrigerator.
