Maple Nut Pudding
A rich and creamy maple nut pudding with crunchy pecan and vanilla wafer layers, perfect as a dessert for special occasions or comforting family treats.

Instructions
- Scald the milk.
- Dissolve the Knox gelatine in 1/2 cup hot water.
- Add the dissolved gelatine to the scalded milk, then add the maple syrup and mix well.
- Place the mixture in the refrigerator to cool.
- When cooled enough to thicken and be rolled from a spoon, add the whipped cream and chopped pecans.
- Crush the vanilla wafers.
- Place half of the crushed wafers in an oblong dish.
- Pour the pudding over the layer of crumbs.
- Add the remaining crushed wafers over the pudding.
- Refrigerate until firm set, preferably overnight.
