Ingredients

  • 1 lemon
  • 1 clove garlic
  • 2 splashes Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 tsp. sugar or sweetener
  • 1/3 cup fat-free Ranch salad dressing
  • 1/2 cup olive or canola oil
  • 1 large head romaine lettuce
  • salt to taste
  • pepper to taste
  • Parmesan cheese

Instructions

  1. In a small bowl, squeeze the lemon and press the garlic.
  2. Add Worcestershire sauce, Ranch dressing, sugar, salt, and pepper.
  3. Mix together with a fork or whisk until well combined.
  4. If desired, substitute less oil for Ranch dressing and add a tablespoon of water.
  5. Pour the dressing over the chopped romaine lettuce.
  6. Sprinkle Parmesan cheese and add croutons, then toss to combine.
  7. Serve immediately.
