Ingredients

  • 4 large plum tomatoes, chopped
  • 1/4 cup green onions, chopped
  • 1/4 cup cilantro, chopped
  • 1 teaspoon fresh oregano or 1/2 teaspoon dry oregano
  • 8 ounces tomato sauce
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon jalapenos, chopped
  • 2 teaspoons lime juice
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper
  • 1/4 cup red wine vinegar

Instructions

  1. Combine all ingredients in a blender or food processor.
  2. Mix for 30 seconds or longer to reach desired consistency.
  3. Refrigerate salsa for at least an hour before serving.
