Ingredients

  • 1 box German chocolate cake mix
  • 8 oz cream cheese
  • 1 box confectioners sugar
  • 1 stick butter

Instructions

  1. Mix together the cream cheese, confectioners sugar, and melted butter and set aside.
  2. Grease and flour a 13 x 9-inch pan.
  3. Sprinkle 1 cup nuts and 1 cup coconut evenly on the bottom of the prepared pan.
  4. Spread the prepared German chocolate cake mix over the nuts and coconut.
  5. Spoon the cream cheese mixture on top of the cake mix layer.
  6. Bake approximately 40 minutes at 350°F (175°C).
