Marinade Steak

Ingredients

  • 1/2 c. soy sauce
  • 1 tsp. brown sugar
  • 1/4 tsp. black pepper
  • 1 club steak or small Porterhouse steak
  • 2 Tbsp. butter
  • 1 tsp. olive oil or vegetable oil

Instructions

  1. Mix soy sauce with the brown sugar, pepper and olive oil.
  2. Pour into a shallow pan.
  3. Put steak in the sauce and spoon a little sauce over top.
  4. Marinate for 30 minutes, turning several times. Heat a large, heavy skillet.
  5. Cook the steak over high heat until very brown; turn and cook quickly until very brown.
  6. Steak will be almost charred on the outside and pink in the middle.
