Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup white vinegar
  • 1/2 cup wine vinegar
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 can sauerkraut, drained
  • 1 cup chopped onion
  • 1 cup chopped bell pepper
  • 1 small can pimento

Instructions

  1. Heat white vinegar, wine vinegar, and sugar together until the sugar dissolves.
  2. Mix together the drained sauerkraut, chopped onion, chopped bell pepper, and pimento in a bowl.
  3. Pour the hot vinegar mixture over the vegetable mixture and stir to combine.
  4. Chill the marinated kraut in the refrigerator for several hours before serving.
