Ingredients

  • 8 oz. twist macaroni
  • 1 cup vinegar
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 1 Tbsp. mustard
  • 1 tsp. pepper
  • 1 1/2 tsp. garlic powder
  • 1 Tbsp. parsley flakes
  • 1 small jar chopped pimento
  • 1 medium cucumber, diced
  • 1 small can sliced mushrooms
  • 1 small jar drained and rinsed stuffed olives

Instructions

  1. Cook the twist macaroni according to package instructions, then drain and rinse with cold water.
  2. In a bowl, combine vinegar, sugar, mustard, pepper, garlic powder, and parsley flakes to make the marinade.
  3. Place the cooked pasta in a large bowl and pour the marinade over it.
  4. Add chopped pimento, diced cucumber, sliced mushrooms, and drained stuffed olives to the pasta.
  5. Stir well to coat all ingredients with the marinade.
  6. Refrigerate overnight, stirring several times during the first few hours to ensure seasonings are evenly distributed before serving.
