Ingredients

  • 1 (32 oz.) can refried beans
  • 1 large sour cream
  • 1 package taco mix
  • 2 avocados, diced
  • 2 small cans Ortega chopped chili
  • 2 tomatoes, diced
  • 2 red onions, chopped
  • 2 cans chopped olives
  • Monterey Jack cheese, shredded
  • Cheddar cheese, shredded

Instructions

  1. Using a large platter, pat a layer of refried beans on the platter.
  2. Mix the sour cream and taco mix together and layer the mixture on top of the beans.
  3. Mix the diced avocados, chopped Ortega chilies, diced tomatoes, chopped red onions, and chopped olives together, then layer on top of the sour cream mixture.
  4. Top the layered ingredients with shredded Monterey Jack and Cheddar cheeses.
  5. Arrange taco chips around the edge of the platter for serving.
