Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 2 squares unsweetened chocolate
  • 1 cup flour
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/2 cup walnuts
  • 1/2 cup chocolate chips
  • 2 tablespoons milk
  • 30 large marshmallows

Instructions

  1. Melt butter and unsweetened chocolate squares over low heat until smooth. Remove from heat.
  2. In a mixing bowl, beat flour, sugar, salt, vanilla, and eggs with a mixer until well combined.
  3. Stir in walnuts and the melted chocolate and butter mixture.
  4. Pour the batter into a greased 9 x 13-inch pan.
  5. Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 15 minutes.
  6. Meanwhile, heat chocolate chips and milk in a saucepan until smooth.
  7. Remove the baked pan from the oven and arrange marshmallows on top of the hot fudge.
  8. Bake for an additional 5 minutes until marshmallows are soft and slightly melted.
  9. Remove from oven and flatten the marshmallows with a spatula.
  10. Drizzle the melted chocolate chips and milk mixture over the marshmallows.
  11. Cover and refrigerate for 2 hours or until set.
  12. Cut into squares when cold and enjoy.
