"Martha'S" Casserole

Ingredients

  • 4 c. noodles (8 oz.)
  • 1 Tbsp. butter or oleo
  • 2 lb. ground chuck
  • 2 (8 oz.) cans tomato sauce
  • 1/2 lb. cottage cheese
  • 1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
  • 1/4 c. sour cream
  • 1/3 c. minced scallions or onions
  • 1 Tbsp. minced green pepper

Instructions

  1. Early in day:
  2. Cook noodles as directed; drain.
  3. In butter, in skillet, saute ground chuck until browned.
  4. Stir in tomato sauce and remove from heat.
  5. Combine cottage cheese and next 4 ingredients.
