- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Separate the cubes of buttered bread to prevent them from sticking together and place them in a greased 9 x 13-inch glass baking dish.
- Cook and crumble the bacon.
- Sprinkle the cooked bacon evenly over the bread cubes.
- Grate the sharp Cheddar cheese and sprinkle it over the bacon and bread.
- In a mixing bowl, beat the eggs, then add the milk and chopped green onions, mixing well.
- Pour the egg mixture evenly over the bread, bacon, and cheese in the dish.
- Bake in the preheated oven for approximately 45 minutes, or until the casserole is set and golden brown.
