Meat Loaf Roll-Up

Ingredients

  • 1 lb. lean ground beef
  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 c. tomato sauce
  • 1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tsp. oregano
  • 1/2 tsp. pepper
  • 1/2 tsp. seasoned salt
  • 3/4 c. oatmeal
  • 4 oz. thinly sliced (deli-style) ham
  • 3/4 c. shredded Mozzarella cheese

Instructions

  1. Combine ground beef, egg, tomato sauce, Worcestershire, oregano, pepper, salt and oatmeal in a large bowl.
  2. On waxed paper, pat meat mixture into rectangle approximately 8 x 10-inches.
  3. Arrange ham slices on top of meat, leaving a small margin around the edges.
  4. Sprinkle cheese on top of ham.
  5. Starting from a short end, carefully roll up meat; seal edges and ends. Place roll, seam side down, in baking dish.
  6. Bake at 350° for about 1 hour.
  7. Makes 4 servings.
