Ingredients

  • 16 oz. can tomato sauce
  • 1 tsp. lemon juice
  • 1/2 cup light brown sugar
  • 1 package meat wieners, cut into 1-inch pieces
  • 1 pound hamburger meat
  • 1/3 cup dry bread crumbs
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • dash of pepper

Instructions

  1. Combine hamburger meat, bread crumbs, beaten egg, salt, and pepper. Form into small balls.
  2. Brown the meatballs in a skillet until cooked through.
  3. Boil tomato sauce, lemon juice, and light brown sugar together to create the sauce.
  4. Add the cooked meatballs and wieners to the sauce.
  5. Simmer for about 8 minutes or until the wieners are heated through and flavors meld.
