Ingredients

  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1/3 cup flour
  • 2 tablespoons cocoa
  • dash of salt
  • 3 egg yolks, beaten
  • 1 2/3 cups milk
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla

Instructions

  1. Put all ingredients into a saucepan except vanilla.
  2. Cook over medium heat, stirring until thick.
  3. Add vanilla and stir to combine.
  4. Pour the filling into baked pie shells.
  5. Chill or let cool before cutting and serving.
