Ingredients

  • 2 lb. ground chuck
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 1 green pepper, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, crushed
  • 1 can Ro-Tel tomatoes
  • 1 can stewed tomatoes
  • 1 Cheddar cheese soup
  • 2 heads cabbage, shredded

Instructions

  1. Brown ground chuck, chopped onion, chopped green pepper, and crushed garlic together in a Dutch oven; drain excess fat.
  2. Add Cheddar cheese soup, Ro-Tel tomatoes, stewed tomatoes, shredded cabbage, salt, and pepper to the browned mixture.
  3. Simmer the mixture for 45 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  4. Serve hot, preferably with cornbread.
