Ingredients

  • 1 lb. frankfurters
  • 3/4 cup bread or cracker crumbs
  • 1 (12 oz.) can whole kernel corn, drained
  • 1 Tbsp. pickle relish
  • 2 Tbsp. chopped onion
  • 1 (10 1/2 oz.) can condensed tomato soup
  • 2 Tbsp. water
  • 1/8 tsp. oregano

Instructions

  1. Cut frankfurters lengthwise, being careful not to cut completely through.
  2. Arrange cut side up in a 12 x 18-inch baking dish.
  3. Combine bread or cracker crumbs, drained corn, pickle relish, and chopped onion.
  4. Place the corn mixture evenly over the frankfurters.
  5. Combine condensed tomato soup, water, and oregano.
  6. Spoon the tomato mixture over the corn mixture and frankfurters.
  7. Bake in a moderately hot oven at 375°F until thoroughly heated and lightly browned.
