- Brown the hamburger; drain excess fat.
- Add salt, pepper, and optional onion to the meat.
- In a saucepan, heat the milk, cream of mushroom soup, and enchilada sauces until blended.
- Grease a 9 x 13-inch baking dish.
- Place 3 tortillas in the bottom of the dish.
- Top with a layer of cooked meat, cheese, then some of the soup mixture.
- Repeat layers two more times, making sure to reserve enough soup mixture to pour over the top layer.
- End with a layer of cheese on top.
- Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 25 to 30 minutes.
- Optional: Top with shredded lettuce, tomatoes, and sour cream before serving.
