A flavorful Mexican-inspired meat loaf pie with seasoned beef, cheesy topping, and salsa, perfect for family dinners or gatherings seeking bold, comforting flavors.

Ingredients

  • 2 lb. ground beef
  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 cup seasoned bread crumbs
  • 1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 jar chunky salsa
  • 1 cup Mozzarella cheese

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, mix ground beef, egg, seasoned bread crumbs, Worcestershire sauce, and half of the salsa.
  2. Press the mixture into a 10-inch ungreased pie pan.
  3. Bake in a preheated 350°F oven for 40 minutes.
  4. Remove from oven, drain excess grease, and sprinkle mozzarella cheese over the top of the pie.
  5. Return to the oven for an additional 5 minutes or until the cheese is bubbly.
  6. Serve by cutting into wedges and spooning remaining salsa over the top.
